ugh. the weather outside is horrible. it is very cold here even though spring should be right now. it's starting to get warmer but please could it go a bit faster? that would be very nice of you, weather. anyway, today we went out spontaneously and took some pictures. my hands were violet when we came back home. but i think that is the price of getting cool pictures. the pics went out very nice, i'm happy about that. today i wore my pleather jacket from ZARA, my acid washed jeans from TOPMAN, a shirt from MTWTFSS WEEKDAY, some vintage socks that probably were my mothers (lol?), a actec print TOPMAN button down around the waist and my all-time favourite UNDERGROUND creeper. sorry for not posting for such a long time, but the weather was so shitty that i wasn't inspired at all (i'm sorry). and, how you can probably see, i bleached the shit out of my hair and it isn't that stressed and in an bad condition. the colour should be silver, but it didn't turn out how i wanted so i need to bleach it again, to get the blond out (hooray, my hair will look like straw). anyways listen to this beautiful music and chill (and probably cry because this song is incredibly true and the truth is incredibly sad). bye, stefan.

ALBA PRAT: syn - chron

The collections of Germanys finalist ALBA PRAT at the H&M's designer Award is simply stunning. The name of the collection is syn - chron. It's minimalistic and either has white and red or black and blue in it. The prints are made out of the heartbeats of the designer. She measured them and rendert them through design programms. She was inspired by german artist CARSTEN NICOlAI who does aesthetic sculptures and room installations where he combines visual, atmosphere ans sound. Her designs are very androgyn how she says, she is very fastinated by mens fashion. But she's still going to do woman collections. She uses dip dye and patterns. Dip Dye is maybe outdated but she redefines it. She's making it cool again. Even though she didn't win the Design Award, MINJU KIM did, i think she will have a future in fashion business.

KINGSLAND FACTORY WORKERS

    Today i want to talk with you about an very important thing right now. Kingsland Factory workers stopped working for H&M and Wal-Mart since September 2012, but they still got problems. They camp in front of the factory, so the owner of Kingsland can't take the machines out of the factory. The workers live in front of the factory, WITHOUT A HOME, MONEY, SECURITY. There are pregnant mothers, old people and ill people. They won't sleep because they're too afraid. At night there are drunk motorcyclers who are loud an come very near to the workers, so they are too afraid too sleep. H&M always says that the stopped to have a business relationship with Kingsland but 4 months before September 2012 the workers only got 50% of they should get. In the month before the relationship ended they got only like 20% and the workers didn't accept that. Do we really need to do something like that for fashion? I thought we were in 21st century.

Heute will ich ein ernstes Thema ansprechen. Die Arbeiter von Kingsland Factory haben für die beiden Marken H&M und Wal Mart im September 2012 aufgehört zu arbeiten, jedoch haben sie immernoch Probleme. Die Arbeite campen vor der Fabrik, damit die Besitzer die Maschinen und die Materialien nicht weg nehmen können. Die Arbeiter leben vor der Fabrik OHNE ZUHAUSE, GELD, SICHERHEIT. Dort sind schwangere Frauen, ältere und kranke Menschen die Hilfe benötigen. Sie können nicht einschlafen, weil betrunkene Motorradfahrer sie belästigen und sehr nahe an die Menschen kommen. Sie haben einfach zu viel Angst. H&M verweist, wenn man sie darauf aufmerksam macht, dass sie seit September 2012 keine Beziehung zu Kingsland hatte. Aber 4 Monate vor dem Ende der Beziehung wurde den Arbeitern nur 50% des zustehenden Gehaltes bezahlt. Einen Monat davor, war es sogar so wenig, dass die Arbeiter das Geld nicht angenommen haben. Müssen wir soetwas menschenverachtendes machen, nur um preiswertige Mode zu bekommen? Ich dachte wir leben im 21. Jahrhundert.

WEEKDAY ONLINE STORE

FINALLY WEEKDAY STARTED AN ONLINE STORE. I always had a problem to shop at my favourite store: MTWTFSS WEEKDAY. In Germany we have shops in Köln, Berlin and Hamburg. Shouldn't be a problem, right? It is one. All these shops are too far away from me and now Weekday has a solution for us: the opened an online store. I was very happy about that. I love and adore weekday because it's minimalistic and everything looks sooo good. The most of my clothing is from weekday. It's just not usual. It's always interesting and even the basics look better then they do in other stores. Anyway, the official launch is in 5 days, but Weekday had an idea and let their fans choice when they want to see the site. You could just click on the + or - on the virtual hour.

I'm kind of disappointed because they only have little parts of the whole collection. But lets give our favourite nordic designer some time to put up the whole collection.

There are my shoes. I love them. I got the doc martens from amazon for only 80 Euros what's a very, very good deal. My creepers are from the Underground store (Berwick Street 8, SoHo, London). I got them for 85 pounds, what's quite much, but i'm really in love with them! Caspar macht übrigens 'ne Blogvorstellung !

first fashion post. have you heard that agyess deyn, the wonderful and beautiful model, had a cooperation with doc martens. how could it be better? my favourite model and my favourite shoe brand have a cooperation?! But i was too excited. The collection is especially for women, so only the creepers are unisex. but i love the creepers and the boots also. usually i dont like shiny things and im thinking of buying the creepers. the clothing line looks very grandma-like. im disappointet.
